🧺 Baby Muslin Cloth Care Instructions
-
Use a gentle/delicate cycle with cold water (30°C or below). High heat can shrink muslin and damage the weave.
-
Wash with other soft fabrics only. Avoid items with zippers, hooks, or Velcro to prevent snagging.
-
Use a mild, baby-safe detergent 🌿. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as they weaken cotton fibers and may irritate your baby’s skin.
-
Skip fabric softener 🚫. Muslin softens naturally with water and air.
-
Drying 🌬️:
-
Line dry (recommended) to keep the natural crinkle texture of jablas, pyjamas, and feeding covers.
-
If tumble drying, use the lowest heat and remove while slightly damp to avoid over-drying and stiffness.
-
-
No ironing needed ✨. Muslin has a natural wavy texture. Ironing can flatten fibers and reduce breathability. If required, use very low steam.
-
Pro Tip: If muslin feels stiff after washing, give it a quick shake and wear for a few minutes — the soft, cloud-like feel will return.
